Chairman's message

Another year has gone and planning for the 2010 National Prayer Breakfast is at an advanced stage. As a nation we continue to face enormous challenges. It is the prayer of the trustees and the executive that the event this year will be both informative and relevant to the times in which we live. Above all, we trust it will be a catalyst that will stimulate urgent prayer throughout the Nation. Later in the above quoted psalm we read. 'We depend upon the Lord alone to save us. Only He can help us; He protects us like a shield' Psalm 33:20 (Living Bible)
The host for the Breakfast this year will be the First Minister for Scotland Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP and the event will be chaired by Miss Annabel Goldie MSP.
The theme for 2010 is "Leadership in Turbulent times", a very relevant subject for the days in which we live. Our Guest Speaker is General Sir Richard Dannatt GCB CBE MC Chief of the General Staff 2006-2009. As is customary, the breakfast will be followed by a seminar on the same subject. During the seminar Mr Iain Morris of Kharis Productions will interview General Dannatt There will be time for open discussion and Questions.
